National Stereoscopic Association (NSA)
Info The National Stereoscopic Association was founded in 1974 to promote the study and collecting of stereographs, stereo cameras, and related materials; to provide a forum for collectors and students of stereoscopic history; to promote the practice of stereo photography; to encourage the use of stereoscopy in the visual arts and technology; to foster the appreciation of the stereograph as a visual historical record; and to provide for a Stereoscopic Research Library. There are more than 3,000 members.
Meetings Regional Meetings of NSA members are sponsored locally in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, the annual NSA National Convention and Trade Fair attracts members from all over the world, as well as many photographica dealers, photo historians, and experts in various state-of-the-art applications of stereo imaging.

Stereoscopic Society of America (SSA)
Info

The Stereoscopic Society of America (SSA) is a group of about 150 currently active stereo photographers who circulate their work by means of postal folios.
Print, transparency and electronic formats are used, and several groups are operating folio circuits to meet the needs of each format.

Membership is limited to US and Canadian members of NSA. A new member may sign up simultaneously for membership in NSA and SSA.

Meetings Annual meetings are usually held at the same place and time of the NSA convention.
Publication Newsletter called "Viewsletter" circulated among members. Also national directory.

Amateur Photographic Exchange Club (APEC)
Info Rebirth of famous stereo exchange club of the 1860's.  Four times a year each of the members exchanges one self made print stereograph with every other member. The stereo views recieved by a member are his/hers to keep and own. There are members throughout the USA and several other countries.

Oakland Camera Club (OCC)
Info The Oakland Camera Club (founded in 1934) is the only active stereoscopic photography club in the San Francisco Bay Area. 
The stereo division provides a friendly competition in 3-D slides, as well as special programs and clinics for slide evaluation. The OCC holds an annual PSA-recognized International Stereo Exhibition of slides and cards. 
Meetings Our meetings are held at the Hacienda de los Flores in Moraga, CA, on the third Moday of every month except December from 7:30PM to 9:30PM. The address is 2100 Donald Drive, Moraga CA, 94556.

Pasadena Stereo Club
Info The Pasadena Stereo Club, which has been in existence since the 1950's, is now largely an "audience" group.  The club serves as a ready-made forum for international stereo exhibition showings and other programs produced by individuals or organizations, and provides help to organize important collections of images.
Meetings Meetings are held in a member's home on the 2nd Thursday of the month except December, July, and August. Members are notified of meeting details by phone. Dinner (optional) begins at 7:00pm and costs approximately $10. The stereo program begins at about 8:30pm.

Info The San Diego Stereo Camera Club was organized in 1952, making the Club over a half century old. Under the umbrella of the Southern California Association of Camera Club, meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of the month in the Photo Arts Building in beautiful Balboa Park, home of the world famous San Diego Zoo.

Central Florida Stereo-3D Club (CFS3DC)
Info This relatively new club was established in 1996 to provide a forum for 3D photographers and enthusiasts. Orlando area theme parks offer a variety of 3D cinema presentations as well as 3D photo opportunities.

Info Establsihed in June, 2001, the Stereo Division is part of the well respected Boise Camera Club.

Rabbit Hash 3-D Photography Club
Info Located in Rabbit Hash, Kentucky on the Ohio River across from the fleshpots of Rising Sun, Indiana.
Meetings Erratic, often weather dependent, but trying to meet formally around the solstices and equinoxes. Impromptu meetings are often held on Friday and Saturday evenings. Especially in the good weather.
A typical meeting includes plenty of food and drink and a slide presentation, as well as discussions equipment and techniques. The club owns some equipment which is freely lent to members as long as they share their results.

Info The Detroit Stereographic Society was founded in 1951 and is affiliated with the Photographic Society of America (PSA), the National Stereoscopic Association (NSA) and the International Stereoscopic Union (ISU), and each year hosts the Detroit International Stereo Salon.

New York

New York Stereoscopic Society (NYSS)
Info The New York Stereoscopic Society provides a forum for photographers, collectors, historians, and general enthusiasts to learn more about creating and understanding 3D images. Most meetings feature polarized projection of a 3D slide show, followed by an informal time to share images in viewers or discuss images posted on bulletin boards. Members are occasionally invited to 3D film screenings and exhibitions of related material. All 3D techniques are germane to the discussion: stereoscopic photography in all formats and sizes, lenticular and barrier prints, polarized printing and projection, Pulfrich video, anaglyph printing, interlaced computer images, historical publishing, filmmaking, and professional applications in medicine, sports and museology are topics that have been covered in past meetings or are planned for the future. Summer Member Salons offer the opportunity to present samplings of personal works-in-progress that might not fit in the context of a formal presentation.
Meetings Quarterly meetings are held at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan. Use the 77th Street entrance between Central Park West and Columbus .

The Genesee Valley Stereo Guild (GVSG)
Info Formed in October 1998, GVSG is a casual association of people in the Greater Rochester, NY area sharing a common interest in the practice and appreciation of stereo photography.
The GVSG meets for discussions, presentations, demonstrations and stereo slide projection sessions.  A typical meeting would include greetings, a bit of show and tell, a presentation of the Meeting Topic (sometimes as a stereo slide show) followed by Q&A and discussion. Following the presentation some time will usually be set aside for viewing of members' slides, either passing viewers, "Open Projector" show or a critique session.

Info CSC was founded in January 1994 in Portland, Oregon to promote the use and preservation of Three Dimensional Imagery. CSC is a non-profit 503 (c) 3 corporation and a member of NSA, PSA and ISU and 4C's.

Second Saturday of each month except July and August at 12:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public at no charge and usually last about three hours. There is a competition on a theme and a program consisting of video clips and other interesting stereoscopic images. Lunch is served. Sydney Stereo Camera Club (SSCC)
Info The SSCC holds monthly meetings with competitions, sponsors the "Southern Cross International Stereo Exhibition" and provides 3D-supplies to its members. The Club has over 120 members, including country, interstate and overseas members. Most of the overseas members receive the emailed PDF file version of the club bulletin.
Meetings Meetings are held on the third Tuesday each month, except December at Drummoyne Five Dock Citizens Hall, 422 Lyons Road, Five Dock.

Info Our members have a common interest in stereo photography - particularly in taking and showing both slide and digital stereo photos.
